HRPO COVID-19 Dedicated Phone Line and Email Address

HRPO has set up a dedicated phone line 314-371-6189 and email account HRPO@wustl.edu for questions about COVID-19 related to IRB requirements. HRPO staff are manning the phone line and monitoring the email account between 8:00am and 4:30pm Monday – Friday. The general SWAT! line remains the same at 314-747-6800.

In-person Office Hours hosted by HRPO (Human Research Protection Office) are closed until further notice. This includes Biomedical Campus MCC Building, Danforth Sever Hall and Psychology Building.

The SWAT! On-call Service 314-747-6800 remains open per the usual schedule available at SWAT!

2019 Summer Student Research Team Member Process Update

Each summer Washington University welcomes students from across the country to participate in research experiences on campus. Several years ago, HRPO instituted a process to facilitate the addition of summer students as research team members. We have updated the process to add summer students for 2019.

We hope to make it as smooth and quick as possible for faculty and staff to obtain approval so students can gain valuable research experience.

Below are links to directions that should be followed to add a summer student to a research team and the template agreement. Please read and follow the directions carefully to avoid delays in approval.

Danforth Sever Hall Office Hours Schedule Change on January 30, 2019
