HRPO is offering demonstrations of the updated myIRB application, which is scheduled for release this summer. Each 1-hour demonstration will provide an overview of the changes to the application question set and other new functionality.
Basic system navigation and review of existing functionality will NOT be provided during these demonstrations.
Demonstrations will be held in the Mid Campus Center and seating is limited. Visit the registration page for further details.

Due to the anticipated release of the updated application the myIRB Training Sessions routinely offered by HRPO have been cancelled for the months of June and July. These training sessions (described below) are expected to resume later this summer. Check back in August 2017 for the schedule.
Location: Regularly scheduled sessions are hosted in the Mid Campus Center, Room 2042. Click here for directions.
- Basic Navigation and New Projects. This 2.5-hour session includes an introduction to the basic functionality of the system, hands-on experience using the New Project form (new Full Board, Expedited and Exempt research), and responding to items identified during IRB review. All users are urged to attend this session prior to working in the system or attending other training sessions.
- Continuing Review/REF/Closure Forms. This 1-hour session provides an overview of the Continuing Review form, the Reportable Event Form, and Closure form used to close studies that exist in myIRB. Registrants are expected to be familiar with basic navigation and functionality, which will NOT be provided during this session.
- Modification Forms. This 1-hour session provides an overview of the modification form and the way changes should be done in myIRB. Registrants are expected to be familiar with basic navigation and functionality, which will NOT be provided during this session.
