Founded in 2001, the purpose of the St. Louis IRB Consortium is to provide a forum where local IRB staff and members can meet to:
- share ideas and educational opportunities.
- discuss regulations and ethics governing research.
- assist each other with problem solving.
Quarterly meetings are held.
Membership: The IRB Consortium welcomes all local institutional review boards to become members. This includes IRB directors, chairs, and committee members. At present, there is no institutional fee.
Founding Organizations: Washington University, Mercy St. Louis, Saint Louis University and Veteran’s Administration
Member Organizations: Mercy St. Louis, St. Luke’s Hospital, Missouri Baptist Hospital, SSM Healthcare, St. Louis College of Pharmacy, University of Missouri – Columbia, Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville, Lewis and Clark Community College, University of Missouri – St. Louis, St. Anthony’s Hospital, Logan College of Chiropractic
